That supports a careful statement that Lincoln County's roster is designed to include a booking-photo field. It does not support a claim that the county publishes a separate mugshot gallery, multiple photo angles, a daily recent-bookings photo feed, or a fixed public retention period after release.
Booking photos are different from court records. A mugshot is usually created during jail intake and may be held by the jail or law-enforcement agency. Formal charges, hearings, and dispositions appear in the court record after filing. Courts do not normally provide booking photos, and New Mexico Courts IPRA materials state that courts do not maintain law-enforcement records.
Request Lincoln County Booking Photos

Lincoln County Mugshot Law
New Mexico public-records law starts from inspection unless an exception applies. The New Mexico DOJ IPRA guide describes Chapter 14, Article 2 NMSA as the public-records framework. Law-enforcement-record exceptions, juvenile limits, sealed or expunged records, medical information, victim or witness identifiers, and other protected data may still limit release. Mugshot Removal and Expungement
New Mexico expungement law can limit public access to covered New Mexico state criminal records. The New Mexico Courts handout says expungement prevents the general public from seeing covered records and that courts, law enforcement, and criminal justice agencies tell the public that no such record exists, subject to statutory exceptions. Research did not locate a Lincoln County Detention Center policy promising automatic removal of booking photos after dismissal, acquittal, release, or expungement.
Do not use commercial mugshot-publishing or pay-to-remove websites as an official path. The official route is the court expungement process for eligible records, then communication with the government office that maintains the affected record. Federal and tribal records are outside New Mexico's state expungement coverage, so those records require separate legal analysis.
Federal State and ICE Photos
State, federal, and immigration custody do not work like a county mugshot roster. NMCD data-request materials say photos are a separate paid subscription product, and public NMCD profile photo display was not verified during research. BOP and USMS do not provide a county-style public booking-photo gallery for federal detainees. ICE ODLS identifies detainee location or status through official search paths, not a mugshot gallery.
If a person was arrested in Lincoln County and later transferred, the mugshot question and the custody question may split. The jail may hold the original booking record. NMCD may hold the later prison record. BOP or ICE may hold federal or immigration custody data. Use the agency tied to the record being requested.
